What is a travel CNA and how can I become one in Florida?

In general, in Florida Certified Nursing Assistants ( CNAs) provide direct patient care. Throughout Central Florida, including Orlando, a travel CNA goes to the home of the patient or health care facilities like hospitals, nursing homes, and assisting living facilities. Some of the CNA’s duties include helping patients with activities of daily living related to personal care (Bathing or showering, dressing, getting in and out the bed or a chair, walking, eating, and more). They may also monitor patient’s health, administer medication, assist with basic health care tasks and assess patient’s condition. As a traveling CNA your duties are similar to the ones mentioned above. Traveling CNAs is becoming a more in-demand profession in Florida.

Most traveling CNAs work for an agency that specializes in home health care or staffing companies.

Traveling CNA jobs in Florida requiere a CNA license.
